Minecraft Creative Adventures (K-3rd)

Minecraft: Creative Adventures is a course designed to help children tap into their creativity and problem-solving skills through the popular video game, Minecraft. In this course, children will have the opportunity to explore the vast and customizable world of Minecraft, using their imaginations to build and design their own structures, landscapes, and more. Along the way, they'll also have the chance to collaborate with their classmates and share ideas as they work together to bring their creative projects to life. By working together and sharing their thoughts and ideas, children will learn about the value of collaboration and the power of teamwork. This is a fantastic opportunity for children to learn and grow while having fun in the process!

 

Cartooning Art (K-6th)

Young Rembrandts™ Cartooning curriculum uses a structured stepwise format to teach students to create their own animated characters in humorous settings. We break down objects and ideas into simple shapes, then use exaggeration, caricature, and personification to playfully construct our own cartoon images. Our Cartooning curriculum develops academically relevant skills, including spatial-motor planning, mental discipline and fine motor skills, while providing a fun, enriching experience for our students. New lessons every week!

 

Fall Global Flavors: A World of Fall Delights (K-4th)

Your kids will have a blast cooking up and devouring our exciting, tasty, and healthy recipes. Our interactive classes incorporate S.T.E.A.M., culture, language, and more, led by our experienced Chef Instructors. Allergies are always accommodated, and our plant-forward recipes are nut-free. Explore our lineup of ever-changing weekly recipes and join us to WHIP up some culinary fun all year! Our cooking classes are perfect for all ages!


TUESDAYS

Volleyball (2nd-6th)

Our volleyball program is a perfect intro to one of the fastest growing sports in the area. We will work on fundamentals through play, keeping each day fun with games and drills that build strength and confidence, as well as learn about proper rotations and spatial awareness. Our goal is to get each player the most touches possible each day to ensure noticeable improvement and constant engagement. This program is for beginners as well as experienced players, and by the end of the session we hope to be able to play out competitive points. Everyone will have a blast with this great game!

 

 

Chess (K-6th)

Learn chess with Magnus Academy (formerly Silver Knights), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy!  We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state and national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games.  Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.

 

Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time.  This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments and an event with world champion Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player of all time.  All chess supplies provided. Flag Football (K-6th)

Huddle Up and get ready for Flag Football to become an instant classic. Kids are lining up to score touchdowns and get a taste of the most popular game in the country! Players will get a chance to be running backs, wide receivers, defensive ends, and corner backs. Learn to pass, catch, run routes and punt like the pros! We'll practice these skills while playing Button Hook, Down & Out, Pitch & Run and First & Ten. Scrimmages and Red Zone Challenges will test your skills, promote teamwork and encourage sportsmanship. WEDNESDAYS

Motor Mayhem:  Mechanical & Electrical Motors for Vehicles  (3rd-6th)

Bust a move and crash some cars. Come explore the ways of motors - from simple air blasts to overclocked electric motors.  You will make helicopters, and airplanes.  Explore rockets and make your own stomp rocket assembly.  Wrap up with electric motors and your very own electric car.  Almost all of these will crash at least once, so be ready for extreme mayhem. 

 

Hip Hop All Stars  (K-4th)

Our ADF hip hop dancers will learn the latest street dancing technique, performance skills and confidence. Hip Hop is an ever-evolving style performed to current hip hop music. The Adrenaline Dance Force classes offer the ability to improve hip hop style, increase memory and improve balance by staying grounded and strong through upper and lower body movement. Adrenaline’s experienced staff brings excitement to this class with the latest hip hop moves and age-appropriate music!

 

Wizarding World of Engineering using LEGO® Materials (K-4th)

Master the magic of Harry Potter using LEGO®! Visit Diagon Alley, play a game of Quidditch, and duel the evil Lord Voldemort. Hone your magical skills while learning about advanced Muggle (STEM) concepts.


THURSDAYS

Scratch Coding (3rd-6th)

Welcome to our Scratch coding course! In this course, we will introduce you to the exciting world of computer programming using Scratch, a visual programming language developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Scratch makes it easy for anyone to create their own interactive stories, games, and animations. With Scratch, children can bring their ideas to life by using blocks to specify the actions that their program should take. They will start by learning how to use loops to repeat actions, control structures to make decisions, and variables to store and manipulate data. children will also learn how to use operators to perform calculations and how to use the pen tool to draw and create animations. By the end of this course, children will have the skills to create their own interactive programs in Scratch and be well on their way to becoming coding pros.

 

All Star Drama Club (K-3rd)

In this class, young performers step into Moonlit Wings' Drama Club! Dive into new lessons every season with fresh scripts of comedy, drama, and hilarious improv games. Sharpen speech, stage presence, and teamwork through theatre. Parents are invited to a mini-performance during the final class. Drama Club is where creative kids make lasting friendships and keep the fun going, season after season!

 

Lacrosse (2nd-6th)

Come play the fastest game on two feet! Our Coaches will teach you the skills you need to play Lacrosse; cradling, passing and catching, scooping, shooting and defense. We'll even provide the sticks for this introduction to the game and exposure to the basics of Lacrosse! Capture the Lax Ball, Ground Ballhogger and Dodger are some of our favorite games to play. This perfect mix of scrimmaging and stations allows players to interact with Coaches and teammates in a fun and exciting way.  Come catch the fever that is Lacrosse, one of the fastest growing sports today.
